What is Interlligence ?

Interlligence is a new way to communicate with anyone with the internet network via a classical e-mail client (thunderbird, outlook...).

Interlligence tries to match social network and questions opened by collective intelligence.

I wanted to write an e-mail to someone I did not know, wanted to write him about my day, share some particular feeling or simply find the answer to a precise question outside the common search engine or online ncyclopedia… and who knows? Have maybe a prolonged exchange, a real correspondence.

What I wanted to be sure, was that my message arrived in someone’s email box because my desire was precisely the possibility to be alone while still connected with others who, like myself, navigate anonymously on the internet for personal or professional reasons.

It seemed to me that this would slightly resemble a correspondence with the entire world, well, with a part of the world that would open itself to all my questions and/or all my expansions.

Certainly, I could have registered to an online chat or messenger but I did not want real time conversations nor exchange with some friends/relatives.

And I find that this differed time in the exchange would allowed me to choose with parsimony my interlocutors based on the evolution of our exchanges (and in the opposite case, I know that the lack of answer to a questions is also a rule to respect and is reputable! )

The interlligence is a form of nervous system of the internet that creates links between individuals who prior to this do not know each other, via the most classical tool of the internet : the email !

Its principal is simple: once registered, it sufficed to send an email to interlligence which promptly sends the message now anonymous towards a definite number of users. Hence the triggering of conversations, some exchanges which the most relevant of them, with the consent of the two parties, can become real correspondences, possibly more!! the interlligence do not intervene at this level since it does not archive nor analyze the messages circulating in the internet.

During registration, I enter my email address and few parameters such as my native language or my age and that’s it, the interlligence positioned itself discretely like a new possibility, as an infinite dialogue which transcend the sociological, geographic and hierarchic differences.

Because the internet of the second generation must finally be used for something else than these participating individuals forms reduced to their simplest expression. Indeed, the web2 has emancipated these forms of intervention to levels more practical, to levels close to the functions of a basic individual computer by turning the navigator internet into some kind of huge desk with connecting functions! And the initiatives of existing social networks have limits, these limits are notably to enclose each other in reductive archetype of the type “ if you too like chocolate mousse, create your social network and make the video of the recipe which will be shown on line in order to share it with your friends !”.

The interlligence is based on a rather simple insight: the email remains the more powerful WAY to exchange asynchronically and the correspondence with each others’ pairs is really the most beautiful thing in this world, especially this idea that the echo of a thought can reach somewhere and this whatever the nature of the message. It appears to me that the real freedom lies here and that the finality of a world of connected machines is really this possibility to never be alone while respecting the silence and the privacy of others.

The interlligence is therefore this mediator of an unconstrained social network, it is this tool for putting in contact at differed time and it is this tool for transcending the themes: talk about everything, ask all the questions, answer yourself questions asked by others, these “others” from the internet who suddenly comes to life in front of you.

Furthermore, the interlligence works to a great extent on the principle of chance, but this chance is part of the beauty of this project: Isn’t it the best guarantee to not distort the dices? Chance casts me towards all the possibilities, a little like a vehicle which duplicates my interventions to project them in multiple destinations;

The interlligence is this vehicle which links us up, a little piece of program which draw bridges and which disappears to leave a simple answer, an ending when there is no reply or the detonator of a true relation.

The question of memory takes all its sense: we archive all our activities and all pictures of our private moments since birth; this quantity of information becomes colossal and in a sense superficial. Because wasn’t the true relation rather that of a shared memory, in this case the share memory who gives a sense to a picture or to a video, by this I mean the experience, the adventure, the intensity of the instant ? Our brain works of course on this intensity of the instants, on these emotions and especially on the reactivation of this activity via the other: some faces behind their screens which think and make the decision to start a dialogue; a form of alternate blending anonymity and privacy, a whisper in the shade of the matrix proving that the human being is still present out of the battles slanted around intellectual ownership. The humanitarian heritage will maybe take one day a step ahead of the authoritarian heritage by surpassing ethical and technological questions to offer some forms that are light and invisible, forms that are unique of a look, of a transmission of thought or simply of a desire.

The interlligence would therefore be this moment of the collective intelligence applied to the internet, a moment which closes itself outside the level of robotics or sophisticated programming which mime human exchange in its lowest resolution.

The interlligence is an asserted attempt to put into place the realization of a network aerial and fragile where the foam of collective thoughts crosses time and space, the realization of an instant.

HOW TO ?

Once you are inscribe with the interlligence, you are able to write normal e-mails to one single e-mail adress: echo@interlligence.net

Receiving your e-mail, the interlligence search in a random way inside it database others users able to get your message (you can use criterias like your age or your langage for example) and then redistribute your message to those users.

Then begin conversations between you and people receving your message.

Note that all those conversations are anonymous and you are able to stop at any time or to add one user in a spam list if you consider receiving injuries.

In fact, you can do few things straight from your e-mail box using KEYWORDS added in the title of your e-mail message : Do not forget the brackets [ ] around a keyword, that's the only way interlligence can proceed to understand you !!

[END TALK] : add this keyword in the title of your e-mail to interlligence if you want to finish a conversation with someone.Then your correspondant will receive an e-mail telling him your talking is ended. Note that you will be able to have new conversations with him later on. (on the opposite of [SPAM] keyword which is a final end)

[HELP] : add this keyword in the title of your e-mail to interlligence if you want to receive by e-mail this help you are reading now.

[STATS] : add this keyword in the title of your e-mail to interlligence if you want to receive by e-mail statistics concerning your account as well as your password if you forgot it.

[SPAM] : add this keyword in the title of your e-mail to interlligence if you want to cut a talking with someone wich you consider sent abusive content. because nobody has the e-mail o the others, you are certain to never receive again messages from this pseudo.

[CANCEL ACCOUNT] : add this keyword in the title of your e-mail to interlligence if you want to cancel your account and therefore ending all the talkings you have with other persons.

[Number] : When you send a message to interlligence, you are limited in the number of people who will receive it (it's a parameter you fix when you create an account).By adding in the title of your e-mail to interlligence a number like [8] for example, you ask to interlligence to send you message to only 8 users.

- When I create an account, it ask me the Number of new message/day you would like to receive from interlligence ?

As a user of interlligence, you can write message to it but of course, you are able to receive message from it, dealing with this idea that when you inscribe to interlligence, you become a part of a collective intelligence network which exchange content. This number is very important because you don't want to receive thousands of messages everyday from intelligence...so, here you decide how much new message from interlligence you will receive maximum in a day.

- When I create an account, it ask me the Number of correspondants who will receive each of your new message to interlligence ?

When you write a new message to interlligence, it's making a random list of person(s) able to receive your message. Imagine there is 100000 persons able to receive it, would you like to receive an answer from 100000 persons ? So, this number limit the number of users who will receive your new message.

- How can I modify an account?

When you create an account you get a password and a pseudo login. with these 2 parameters, you can access to the modify form and changed almost all your parameters (except your pseudo and your e-mail)

- Why do I need KEYWORDS ?

No, not for this version and I don't think it's important for this project.

- What to do if I loose my password ?

Just type the keyword [STATS] in the title of an e-mail to interlligence and you will receive your password.
